Dr Peter Cheng is a seasoned HVAC&R professional with over two decades of experience in the fields of technical certification management and
energy efficiency audits and modelling. As the Regional Technical Manager at Armacell, he demonstrates exemplary leadership in enabling sustainable
and customer-centric solutions for thermal and acoustic insulation across commercial, industrial and data center applications. Beyond his corporate
endeavours, Dr Cheng is engaged in community service and the advancement of industry benchmarks. Serving as President of the ASHRAE Singapore
Chapter from 2020 to 2021, he demonstrated his dedication to advancing the HVAC&R field in Singapore through leadership and advocacy.
Mr. William Soon is a Certified TIPCHECK Expert (04-202205-03) of the European Industrial Insulation Foundation (EiiF), a non-profit foundation set up
with the aim of saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions by promoting sustainable insulation systems for industrial and technical installations.
TIPCHECK is a well-established, standardised thermal energy auditing tool that evaluates the performance of industrial insulation systems. As a
TIPCHECK Expert, William evaluates insulation systems of existing facilities, planned projects or retrofits and demonstrates how more efficient
insulation could save energy, save money and contribute to a cleaner environment through reduced CO2 emissions. He also helps clients identify
process efficiency improvements as well as safety risks to personnel and equipment.
