Course Overview
In this course, participants will be introduced the latest regulations and market forces driving the Environmental Sustainability strategy adoption by Singapore companies. They will understand why they need to embark on a decarbonisation strategy to be in complaint with regulations and to gain competitive advantage over peers.
The participants will be able identify and apply the best-in-class Standards and Frameworks to formulate an environmental sustainability strategy that aligns with their corporate strategy. They will be able to perform double materiality assessment to focus on resources and strategy that matter to internal and external stakeholders. They will acquire the necessary skill to perform Environmental Gap Analysis and identify the appropriate strategies.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to select and champion environmental sustainability initiatives, influence decision-making, and lead their organisations toward a more sustainable future.

Course Objectives
In this course, participants will be kept abreast of changes to sustainability disclosure guidelines as announced by ACRA and MAS. They will be able to identify the applicability of industry sector specific guidelines announced by the government in terms of tender submission, disclosure requirements and green loan applications with banks.
The participants will also delve into the types of Transition Risks and how they can affect the long-term sustainability of a business if left unaddressed. They will learn how to classify Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions using GHG Protocol Standards and ISO-14064 Standards. Additionally, participants will develop the ability to support to the implementation of sustainability strategies for their companies and measure the effectiveness of sustainability programmes and activities against best practices.
Finally, participants will learn effective approaches to communicate and implement environmental sustainability strategies within their organisations, driving meaningful and lasting change.
